The company was born from the initiative of the young Lorenzo Bellacima and is founded on a wealth of expertise built over 30 years of experience in the fire sector, initially in the wildland field and subsequently extended to the industrial, railway, logistics, airport, and energy sectors.
Established in 2025, PYRA represents the modern evolution of this know-how, with a model oriented towards the integration of products, vehicles, and operational services, and a clear international vocation.
The fire retardants distributed by PYRA are polyphosphate-based, a technology widely used internationally.

The aerial division represents a significant strategic asset in PYRA’s offering and constitutes a strong element of differentiation compared to traditional models based exclusively on the supply of products or the coordination of external resources. PYRA is able to provide consulting in order to supply and manage structured aerial firefighting services, integrating fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, extinguishing agents, operational planning, and coordination with ground vehicles. The objective is not simply extinguishing the fire, but risk reduction, damage containment, and the protection of strategic assets.
The GST is a patented vehicle developed for the controlled spreading of fire-retardant mixtures from the ground. The vehicle is currently undergoing operational testing and evaluation by the Italian National Fire Corps (Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco), confirming the institutional interest and the validity of the operational concept.
