PATENT AND OPERATIONAL VALIDATION

The GST is a patented vehicle developed for the controlled spreading of fire-retardant mixtures from the ground. The vehicle is currently undergoing operational testing and evaluation by the Italian National Fire Corps (Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco), confirming the institutional interest and the validity of the operational concept.

A NEW APPROACH TO FIRE PREVENTION

The GST stems from a key operational principle: effective fire prevention cannot rely exclusively on aerial vehicles, but must be built through preventive and strategic action from the ground.

The vehicle allows operators to:

Apply fire retardants before the fire starts;
Operate ahead of the fire front, rather than directly on the flames;
Create stable and long-lasting preventive barriers;
Increase operator safety and the overall effectiveness of the intervention;
Operate as a resupply hub for rotary-wing aircraft near the emergency and for pickup trucks used in firefighting operations. (Note: assuming "rifiorimento" is a typo for "rifornimento" / resupply)

MAIN TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The GST is equipped with:

A 14,000-liter tank, divided into communicating compartments;
The ability to load either a pre-mixed product or concentrated product + water;
An integrated on-board mixing system.

OPERATIONAL MODES

Pre-mix: 14,000 liters ready for use;

Dosing: up to 40,000 liters of mixture, with water resupply.
