Home – Aerial Firefighting Services
The aerial division represents a significant strategic asset in PYRA’s offering and constitutes a strong element of differentiation compared to traditional models based exclusively on the supply of products or the coordination of external resources. PYRA is able to provide consulting in order to supply and manage structured aerial firefighting services, integrating fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, extinguishing agents, operational planning, and coordination with ground vehicles. The objective is not simply extinguishing the fire, but risk reduction, damage containment, and the protection of strategic assets.

Fixed-wing aircraft ideal for interventions over large areas, the creation of preventative firebreaks, and dropping fire retardants and foams, featuring high load capacity and rapid intervention;

Essential for precision interventions, targeted cooling, and operations close to critical infrastructure, industrial plants, airports, and energy assets.
Aircraft enable:

Aircraft offer an effective alternative to traditional methods for locating and mapping pollution. They use high-definition cameras and, in some cases, thermography to detect oil slicks or debris.

They are used to identify and map different types of marine waste (macroplastics, ghost nets) on beaches and in the open sea.

In the specific case of oil spills, modified aircraft can be equipped with tanks to spray the sea surface with dispersant liquids, a last-resort measure to promote the dissolution of oil in water.

Aerial images and data guide specialized naval units (ships, surface marine drones) that handle the physical collection and pumping of oily substances or waste into special tanks.

Rescue drones can be used to accurately drop flotation devices in emergency situations, reducing response times.
