Expandol is a top-quality, high-expansion (HiEx) firefighting foam. Non-fluorinated additives combined with a foaming agent base produce a layer of foam that rapidly isolates the fuel, enabling rapid control and extinguishing.
Expandol is the emulsifier to use in high-risk situations where liquefied natural gas (LNG) is stored, processed or transported. Expandol is used by many municipal and industrial fire departments.
Typical applications are industrial workshops (equipment).
